“Keegan worked with me in 2004 as a student and again in 2006 as a professional. He was responsible for planning and implementing strength programs, designing and implementing injury prevention programs, analysing training footage, swim coaching, lifting technique analysis, specific game movement analysis. Keegan was truly an all-rounder when it came to physical preparation. The feedback from the players was that he was always able to explain himself well which is half the battle when it comes to coaching elite athletes.
I also worked with Keegan as an athlete where I found him to be the ultimate professional. His attention to detail in his own preparation transferred to his professional work when he came on board as a member of our coaching team.
I’m still implementing some of his ideas in my training.”

“Keegan Smith will become a pioneer in the field of strength, conditioning and nutrition that I have no doubt about. All great coaches push boundaries to find the truth and Keegan does this with great enthusiasm and intelligence.”

I began training with Keegan as a scrawny 18 year old Exercise Science student – his enthusiasm for applying the best methods of physical training encouraged the growth of my now strong passion for resistance training, athletic improvement and continued learning. Even today, almost 10 years later, he continues to provide inspiration through living his beliefs. He has opened my eyes to a world of holistic health that can have endless advantages in helping athletes (and non-athletes) to break plateaus and exceed preconceived limitations of their potential. The first time I was selected in a national squad my first message was to Keegan (halfway across the world) as a thankyou for his influence on my athletic career.

Training with Keegs was the biggest eye opener for me as a young kid. I always wanted to become the best I could and watching Keegs train showed me how much I had to train and how much to sacrifice to become the best I can. He took me under his wing before he took off to travel the world and taught me the steps I had to change to get where I am today.
Dr James Conole – Destined to become a voice of reason in the mad world of medicine
Keegan inspires by doing, and motivates by action. Most people only point out the road speaking from memory but with Keegan you could see that he has it well-trodden and has the tales to prove it.”

I remember how you motivated me to start working out at any time and not to give more excuses. You taught how you can really work out without much at all and we made a little gym out of rocks and park benches. Also I have to tell you that now, although I’m not working with rocks anymore I recently started staying away from grains and I’m jogging and going up Casupo and I’ve lost a lot of weight. Probably about 10 kilos. And I’ve stayed that way for about 3 months now and I’m planning to stay like this longer.”
Grant Hughes – Formerly with the Australian Soccer League and University of Wollongong Sports Programs
Keegan is an athlete who reads voraciously, speaks three languages, and makes friends easier than a Maxim girl giving out free tequila – Keegan possesses astounding clarity and congruence as a person. His focused mentality manifests itself into highly effective practices of physical training – and an enjoyable lifestyle.”
