Would you get stronger with more rest or less rest between sets?
The obvious answer is MORE REST… but in reality more rest isn’t working for 99% of men.
Why?
Because we get more distracted and end up getting less work done.
But what if we could get longer rests without distraction & with the same total volume for the workout?
That might sound impossible.
It’s not.
Let me explain…
Let’s say you’re planning on 10D10 Dips and 10D8 chins + 10 minutes of juggling skills & 10 minutes of stretch strength.
If we perform that linearly we need the full rest after each set of 10 dips or 8 chins to be able to complete the blocks.
BUT what if we were to do 10 dips into 1 minute of juggling into 8 chins into 1 minute of stretch strength for 10 circuits…
Would it be easier?
Of course it would.
You’d probably be able to do 10 x 15 in that way.
Less metabolic stress.
More total work done.
The result?
More strength gains.
More size.
Less pump but for much longer.
Probably less systemic stress.

Dense Blocks are beautiful in their simplicity but once you have the habit of training skills, speed, stamina, strength & stretch you’ll get better gains training all of them than their parts.
