Meals
1. Steak
Cook it with tallow or suet in the pan.
Smudge salt into the meat before you cook it.
Heat it in the oven a little before it hits the pan if you like (reverse searing)
Fry it in the fat.
Optional tip - while it's still rare slice it up into strips, toss it back in the pan, and add a little gluten-free Tamari sauce.
Outstanding!
Options - homemade or natural tomato sauce, cream sauce, butter melted, cheese, over it, etc.
2. Rice
Use a rice cooker.
3. Broth
Get a pressure cooker. Be careful with it they care explosive if you do the wrong thing! Make broth. Cook some so that you can eat the bones too. Chicken frames, soup bones, marrow bones...
4. Potatoes / Sweet Potatoes
5. Brain Omelette (don't knock it till you have tried it! I love it!)
Blend 100-500g of brain with 6-10 eggs.
Melt suet/tallow or butter in the pan.
Add the mix, cover, flip when ready, scramble if it's a disaster.
Don't burn it.
Options - Parmesan cheese, cheddar.
Desserts
1. Cooked Fruit
Apples - cook in butter, add a little cinnamon serve with cream or homemade ice
cream. I usually peel them.
Banana - same deal! So good!
2. Mixed Bowl
Frozen Berries + Nut Butter (Macadamia, peanut, almond, etc.) + Cream or Greek Yogurt.
Optional shredded coconut.
3. Ice Cream - Homemade
4 eggs, 4 egg yolks
100g butter
100g coconut oil
2 tbs xylitol or use maple syrup for sweetness
1 tsp lemon juice
Little salt
Blend.
Freeze or put in an ice-cream maker (my wife loves ours)
Optional > vanilla essence or cacao powder or frozen strawberries etc based on the flavor you want.
4. Rice + Cream + Maple / honey
Optional cinnamon.
