Emergency Muscle Extreme

I got to my heaviest ever weight training like this.

An athlete I trained went from 81kg to 90kg in 10 days while remaining under 10% (his body scan showed he LOST 1% Fat!) naturally at age 37.
 

When adding muscle is potentially life and death this is what I do….

  1. Alternate upper and lower body.
  1. Train on the minute for 30-40 minutes total each session.
  1. Use push and pull movements for 20 minutes.
  1. Use accessory work for 10-20 minutes.
  1. Use tempos and pauses as needed to maximise strength gains based on the needs of the athlete.
  1. Track strength numbers and make gains.
 
We also trained skills and mobility in these sessions.
We were generally in the gym for 60-120 minutes.
