Get The Most From Your Monkey Foot

I’ve just received the monkey foot.
Looking at how to train it.
It's my second session using it.
I’ve been doing a pyramid set.
Five reps on the hip flexor and then five reps from the hamstring.
What I’ve also been doing is keeping the other leg heel off the ground.
I’m getting really good stability activation through the calf, through the hip.
Deceptively intense and you really can get some good work through the opposite hip as well.
Overall, I wasn't sure if I was going to really like the monkey foot, obviously, I didn't know until I tried it but I can't really see it's quite a specific tool.
I really like being able to pair up back-to-back left foot, and right foot and it's easier than I thought to transition between the left and the right foot as well
New toy, the monkey foot, playing around with keeping the heel off the ground on the opposite leg.
Five reps left leg, first inflection, first hip flexion, and knee flexion.
I’ve only got quite light giving my body a chance to get used to it.
Accumulation before intensification.
As the Poliquin system goes, many systems.
If you keep that other heel off the ground, it's very intense also for the stance leg.
Overall very happy with that as a tool.
I wasn't quite sure if I'd like it.
Something new, something different, looks a bit awkward, but actually works really well.
If you keep it on one leg for a little while, swap it to your leg can be quite efficient as well by keeping the heel off the ground.
I’m getting a lot of work around the hip and in the foot which is what I think I need more of to transfer.
It's a good single-leg power speed to build the foundation
